Delta Search is a search engine hijacker, and is commonly linked to a number of potentially unwanted or even dangerous browser extensions. It is commonly unnoticed due to its similar appearance to Google. Delta Search has a black toolbar at the top with links to Mail, Maps, Images, Calendar, and other services. Like many browser hijackers, Delta Search generates a revenue on a pay-per-click basis.

About Delta Search

Delta Search can be set as your default search engine manually via the link delta-search.com, but it is automatically installed after you installed malicious toolbars such as the Eazel Toolbar. Unlike most browser hijackers, Delta Search sometimes comes with an installation wizard, and notifies you of changes, but mostly is installed without the user's consent. It's primary purpose is to track your search habits, and keeps tracks of cookies and advertisements you click on to do so.
